With ChatGPT conquering the world, we at Writitude decided to look at how both tools can team up to produce brand-specific texts.
We loved it — the result exceeded all our expectations, and we hasten to share a few cases with you.
Yes, ChatGPT is great, but it still doesn’t know how texts are written specifically in your company — you have to prompt it.
Same as you would do with a human copywriter — you have to articulate what kind of result you are expecting: what subject, what length and what tone of the text you want.
And articulating is hard — most people find it difficult to formulate their desires or spend too much time explaining specific details, or both.
Writitude was made exactly for the articulation of brand-specific communication requirements. That’s why it’s so good at producing precise prompts for large language models (LLMs) as well.
In this case, we took a limited-edition silk scarf as a product that a company produces and advertises. For the text we used the Unconventional and Metaphorical tone of voice from the Writitude’s library — it is emotional and colourful, it encourages painting pictures with words and avoiding marketing cliches.
The final result took us four rounds of rewriting and tweaking — all the prompts for text rewriting were taken from Writitude’s detailed insights for this particular tone of voice.

We feel like stopping satisfying Writitude’s hunger for emotions and ignoring the third instruction, as the word “silk” is an adjective in this case. The word “unique” is a cliche, so we think we’ll get rid of the “rare and unique” altogether. While the repetition of “silk” doesn’t bother us here, actually.

Without a human check-up and judgement, LLMs will get you in trouble sooner or later. But they can be super helpful by creating drafts and adjusting them to the requirements faster than a human.
